Today has been another one of those days of ups and downs. Most of the day, she has felt really lousy - lots of nausea and anxiety and her body has been rebelling against staying in a bed too long. But finally, after her afternoon treatment, her wonderful nurses whisked her away to a much need shower and actually found a way to shampoo her hair. She put on her adorable new outfit from "fatty" and came out a new person. She's been dying to get out of this room and walk - and her doctor gave her the OK, so we went strolling through the halls and she had a big smile on her face (first time in awhile). What a relief! Soon after getting back, she received THE BEST package from Keveney Loane's 1st grade class: beautiful hand drawn cards and pictures wishing her well. So adorable and so nice of Keveney to have done this. Thank you so much, Keveney! We also want to thank Meg and her roommate, Lindsey, for the fabulous casseroles and apple crisp - soooooooo yummy.
Will, if you're reading this, she had her phone turned off and missed your call, but got your message. You can always call my phone anytime (508-367-9025) if you want to tell her to go online. She tried signing on, but missed you.
We're now at a countdown for the week - 4 more treatments to go - then she will rest on Saturday and homeward bound on Sunday - yeah!!!
Glenna has been such a trooper through this - as I've probably said everyday, all your thoughts and comments mean so much to her - more than we can say and we thank you all so much for being there for our dear girl. Love to you all, until tomorrow......Mama Kohl
