Good Morning. Glenna has slowly recovered from her "overdose" episode. But she is still extremely weak and gets tired very easily. She will now be working with a physical therapist three days a week to try to gain some strength. Her blood is being tested again today for a level count to be reported to her Boston doctors. Her visiting nurse gave her a pill-holder which holds pills for the entire week - with four different sections per day! It makes things easier for her at pill-time and helps us to know exactly what she's taking and when. She did have one slight seizure episode yesterday - out of the blue - she lost her speech ability. It happened very quick and as soon as she took an Ativan, it came back quickly. We're not sure why this happens, but imagine that it may be due to some swelling from the radiation. And that's why she has to stay on steroids for now.
Time moves slow in our house - alot of resting. She gets out whenever she feels up to it and is loving watching the Olympics every day. She loves to see her friends when she can, so if any of you are close by, be sure to call. We had the most wonderful visit from Tedi & Anna from Alaska this last weekend. What a treat to see them. And Lyndsey came by to let us celebrate her birthday with her - such fun!
That's it for now - will be in touch again soon. Love from MK

I've been reading and keeping up with all of your blogs. Some times read two and three times. I'm rooting for you, cheering, and giving high fives even though you can't see them. And my heart breaks too. You have all been through soooo much. I wish there were some way that I could help. Is there any way? I find myself talking about Glenna a lot as though she were a relative of mine.
Please know that we are all with you.
Teresa
