Hello again friends, As you can probably guess, things at the Kohl home have been "fairly" uneventful since I last wrote. Enjoying the early summer months and keeping our heads above water. Glenna has been feeling pretty well - she is close to weaning herself off of the steroids. There were some troublesome side effects from that, but she feels better now. She has been getting a fair amount of exercise and yoga when she can. Training Mary is an ongoing process.
Yesterday was a highlight. She was given 4 passes to go the the Picnic in the Park at Fenway after the game. Aunt Jeanne, Mom & Dad got to tag along. It was a blast. Getting to see most of the players and lounging around on the field - good food/good entertainment (Blue Man Group). But because the game went 13 innings, it was a very long day. We were all pooped - but totally worth it. Thank you to S.S. for your wonderful caring and generosity. Glenna was in heaven.
And this week, we go back down to NIH for another evaluation - dreading it, and yet looking forward to it at the same time. Praying for something positive to come out of it. Of course, we will keep you all posted as any news comes. We send our love to everyone out there in Glenna-land!
