May 31st - A very special day!

May 31st has always been a special day for me - it is my mom's birthday. And now it is even more special because it is the day the Bay Spirit arrived in her new home in Hyannis Harbor. Bob & Troy sailed her in today at noon and we had a big group at the docks to welcome her home. Cap'n Bob brought her in and she fit just perfectly in the new slip - like it was meant for her. They had a long ride from Tampa Bay to Hyannis Harbor - and Bob is having a much deserved nap as I write this. But he'll be back down at the docks tomorrow morning. The next week will be spent getting her shined up and ready to go on her first voyage. She's a beauty and will bring such joy to us and all of our friends. Can't wait for all of you to see her.
