Happy Eve of Cinco de Mayo
This was a busy weekend. A few of our team members took a ride to Newport, RI on Saturday to visit Ochre Court and hit a few hotels to check out availabilty and prices for the weekend of the ball. We found some pretty good spots. Several of us will be staying down both Friday and Saturday that weekend and we're hoping to have a small reception on Friday night for anyone staying over prior to the ball. It's been a long time since Bob & I have seen Ochre Court and we couldn't be more thrilled that we're holding the event there. It is a fairytale palace - so perfect for this special event. I can't wait to see it filled with all of Glenna's family and friends.
On Sunday, we had our fourth committee meeting. The plans continue to grow and there will be some serious fundraising going on from this point forward. Anyone who has anything they would like to donate for our auctions, please let us know.
