The Masquerade Ball begins
We had our second team meeting last night (way into the night!) brainstorming, organizing and delegating our way into this event. We're very excited to have finally come up with a definite date and venue. Consider this post your first official invitation to the (name still to be finalized) 1st Annual Masquerade Ball in honor of Glenna, our Angel! It will take place on Saturday, October 17th at Ochre Court in Newport, RI. All the details will be worked out in time, and we will keep you all posted every step of the way. As soon as the website is completed, we will be announcing the address, where you will be able to order your tickets and get all the information you need.
We're all so excited to be underway. I know there are alot of you out there who have asked to help, and we will accept any and all help available. The biggest favor we can ask is for anyone who can donate something for either our silent auction or the live auction to let us know. Or if anyone knows of a business or corporation who would be willing to sponsor our event, that would be tremendous. We will have official letterhead soon, and a write up to explain our cause and our plans for funding.
So here we go...it will be a enormous, but exciting, adventure. Care to come along?

This sounds SO cool! When the letter head is ready I would def love to get some things for the auction together! So many of the people in town know Glenna's story and I am sure would love to help.

Reed will be making something for the silent auction. I'm sure he will carve or make something beautiful. We will try to be there as well if we can. I will be in touch. Hopefully with the weather getting nicer we can make a trip to The Cape for a visit.
