Hi all, Lots has been happening. As you know, we've been really busy getting the Bay Spirit going. Bob has had a slight setback - the Coast Guard decided that the Letter of Stabilization that came with the boat in Florida, is not valid and they want him to hire a marine architect and spend a ton of money to have another one processed. They said it could take weeks! Needless to say, he was a bit distraught at the thought of having to wait this long to start his business. He is working with them and communicating with the Florida people and hoping things will work out soon so he can start making a living again. This just does not need to happen.
Our first voyage last weekend was fabulous. We took some friends out for a sunset cruise and then a maiden seal tour the next day. Its a great boat and will be big hit, I know, if we can just get going.
All else is well. Jake is busy working at the Island Merchant and helping Jack with his T-shirt business and spending as much time as he can with his darling Colleen (not me!). The pooches are great - loving their new fenced in yard. And we are all waiting for the sunshine!
