Hello again, A bit of news about our girl. Glenna had a consultation with her surgeon last week and has decided to have one of her tumors removed surgically. She will be set up with an appointment within a few weeks and will spend a day at the hospital undergoing this procedure. After surgery, as soon as she is allowed, she will start some radiation on two of the other sites, with the hope that this will shrink them in order to either remove them or make them easier to treat. Also sometime in the next month she is hoping to get an appointment for a consultation with the doctor at NCI in Maryland to discuss other options after the radiation. She is still having periodic episodes with her eyesight and headaches now and then, but has been feeling relatively well and remaining very positive- in spite of it all. If you haven't seen her lately - she looks adorable in her new hairstyle. She has a temporary nanny job for some friends and is also keeping very busy with William.
