Weekend update4/5 4/6

Sat.After a good night's rest Glenna and I did a few laps around the corridor greeting some of the other patients and nurses with good wishes for the day.Back at her room she drank some water and had a cup of apple juice feeling pretty good.Watched some TV then went out for another walk.Stopped at the family room; worked on a puzzle and she became very sick to her stomach.Back to her room she got sick and fell asleep with a bad headache.Doctors ;nurses; surgeons;its hard to keep track of who's who but by the end of the day she was told to go back to no food and water.We are told to be patient{what else can you do?} and things will improve.
Sun:She slept well and the decision to stop the intravenous pain medication was made in hopes that may be the source of the nausea.As of 2:30 pm the nausea is much better but the headache comes back if she stands up for any length of time.Glenna is finding this to be very annoying and is counting on them to find something to take care of them.As I speak her nurse has come in to inform us she can resume clear liquids and will be given[ Imatrex] a migraine med. in hopes that it will rid her of headaches.
Glenna wants me to mention that last wed. Fedex failed in a delivery of some Hallmark flowers because she was not able to answer a phone call.When she did about 10 min. later they told her that the driver had left for the day and they would bring them Thurs.Shes called back several times and been given other excuses.Her concern is that whoever sent the gift should know she didn't receive them. They won't tell her who the sender is.
We are both looking forward to Mon. with some more improvements and a time to go home.
