September 10th

Hi all, Just a quick note to let you all know that Glenna finished her last treatment of radiation today. So far, so good. She is feeling alot better in the last couple of days. She finally got home from the hospital last night. They did not come up with a concrete cause for her infection, but since she's doing better and her counts are all OK, they sent her home with an oral antibiotic. It was after 7pm last night when Dr. Lawrence finally gave her the go-ahead to leave the hospital, and said to her she may as well stay since she has to be back the next day anyway for her last treatment. Well being the little spitfire that she is, and being so sick of being in the hospital, she said NO WAY...and got out of there. She was exhausted, but happy to be home with Mary last night. And now its rest time. She is very tired and it will get worse before it gets better. We're hoping she feels up to going up to New Hampshire this weekend to visit Steph's boys. Auntie Steph arrived this morning from California, so Glenna has another auntie to fawn over her.
