Sunday, April 27

Good Morning,
MK here. I finally made it down yesterday - 76 degrees and beautiful here. Everything is in bloom and colors are just bursting. Glenna has been outside part of every day and has been having some allergy symptoms, but other than that and feeling pretty tired everyday, she's doing OK. She had her last dose of chemo this morning at 5am followed by a hearty helping of mama's homemade granola and yogurt. She has been eating really well lately and is still getting a supplementary infusion of TPN every night to keep her up to speed. We are about to head over to the lodge for the rest of the day to enjoy some R&R and fresh air. Then she has to be back in her room tonight around 9pm to get some pre-meds to prep her for receiving her cells tomorrow. She will get her cells at noon, followed by her first dose of Interlukin. She will continue on the Interlukin as long as she can tolerate it - probably 3 or 4 days. And so we're off...with high hopes and good spirits, and as we go I know we take with us all the loving thoughts and prayers from all of you. Thank you all. We will let you know how it goes.
Love from MK
