Sunday, Oct 5th
Hello from California,
After a long flight, we made it to Long Beach last night. Stephanie picked us up and delivered us to our hotel in Marina del Rey - beautiful. Glenna was very tired and crashed pretty quickly. This morning Steph, Jim and Cathy picked us up and took us to Gladstones on Malibu Beach for brunch - YUM! Sherry & Emily met us there. It was so good to see them. Took a drive down Sunset Blvd - through Bel Air to drool over the beautiful homes. Back to the hotel for a nap for Glenna. Tonight we're going to Cathy's for dinner and a movie with all the girls. We're playing everyday by ear - whatever Glenna feels up to. So much to see out here. I forgot how amazing it is on the coast (but still too many people).
Just to let you all know, we will be at the taping of Ellen on Tuesday evening, so the show we will be at will be aired on Wednesday (I think it's Kenya West!). Steph has Tuesday off so she will accompany Bob to the Riff Raff Room, and hopefully, if there are any no-shows, they will get in to the show. We'll see.

You are not missing anything here. Any chance you can you post some pictures of your trip on this site? We'd all love to see your smiling faces . . . hoping the rest of the week is equally as wonderful. (P.S. Kanye West, Taye Diggs, Audrina Patridge and some breakdancer kid are all appearing on the Ellen Show - too bad Harry Connick Jr. is the following day). Sending positive thoughts from home...love you all!
