October 16th

Glenna has gotten back into the home mode since returning from New Hampshire. She had a wonderful time celebrating the upcoming wedding of her friend, Crystal, with her other high school buddies. They had some spa treatments at an inn on top of a mountain in Jackson - pretty beautiful. Since coming home, she has been taking advantage of her new sauna and doing some physical therapy. She had a check up at MGH this week. She was anemic again, so went back up today and had a 4-hour infusion of blood. Bob & Jake were with her and they spent most of the time watching a whole season of 30 Rock (thanks, Ellen).
Nowhere to go this weekend - thank goodness. Plan to relax around the house. Jake however, is heading to California early tomorrow morning to spend some much needed days with Colleen. It will be a quick trip, but he deserves to get away.
Other than weekly checkups, the next event for Glenna will be a follow up MRI of her brain. That will be around mid-November.
