Thursday - Home

Did we really go to LA, or was is a dream? After a long red-eye flight, we are back at home and already missing the palm trees and birds of paradise. Ellen was the best. She is even more fun in person than she seems. It was a long ordeal of a day to actually get there and go through the hoops before being in the studio, but once we walked into the studio and sat down, the fun began. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best guests (or prizes) that day, but it was all about Ellen. Entertainment plus! Glenna has a ball. We all got in to the show: Bobby, Steph, Jim, Bonnie, Gayle, Glenna & me. We took up a whole row. Great music, fun dancing and Bob & Jim got to enjoy the biggest airhead with very little on get dunked into the tank (she on some lame reality show called The Hills). We went out for a wonderful mexican dinner after the show and back to the hotel so Glenna could crash. Our hotel was so beautiful - I would recommend it highly if you're ever in the area - The Marina del Rey Marriott. They were filming a Showtime episode of Dexter there yesterday.
Glenna is home resting and we'll all hit the pillow pretty early tonight. It was a wonderful getaway, and as exhausted as she is, I know Glenna is glad she went. Picked up a couple of cute Ellen memorabilia at the show.
